Titanium sheet/plate
Plates are often used to get very close to the final size of the part being made. The material is shaped to match the desired size, resulting in a more uniform grain structure in the finished piece. Titanium sheets are commonly used as heat barriers because titanium doesn’t transfer heat to other parts of the assembly. Additionally, titanium plates and sheets have strong protective properties, making them ideal for driver safety in racing.
