Filler metals like ERTI-1, ERTI-2, ERTI-3, and ERTI-4 (or TA1, TA2, and TA3) are commonly used for welding industrial pure titanium. The amount of impurities in these filler metals increases slightly from ERTI-1 to ERTI-4.

The filler metal ERTI-5 (or TC4) is mainly used for welding the Ti-6Al-4V alloy, often called “6-4” titanium, which is widely used in titanium alloy welding wires.

The filler metal ERTI-6 (or TC7) is used for welding the Ti-5Al-2.5Sn alloy, known for its good weldability.

The filler metal ERTI-7 has great corrosion resistance, and its mechanical and physical properties are similar to ERTI-2.

ERTI-9, another filler metal, has aluminum and vanadium content similar to ERTI-5, which is why it’s sometimes called “half 6-4” titanium.

For alloy electrodes and titanium alloy wire, the standard sizes are electrode diameters of 0.5-5.0 mm and lengths of 350-1000 mm. We can also provide custom sizes based on user requirements.
