Titanium Sheets ASTM F67:

Our company supplies pure titanium plates specifically for orthopedic use, following the standards ASTM F67 and F136. These plates are mainly used in orthopedic instruments, implants, surgeries, sutures, pacemaker wires, ligation clips, dental plastics, glasses frames, and metal mesh screens.

Titanium plate appearance inspection standard:
  1. The titanium sheet should not have any layers that are coming apart.
  2. If there are special requests for the appearance, both the supplier and the buyer can agree on it.
  3. The hot-rolled surface of the titanium sheet should be smooth and clean. Sheets can be provided with surfaces that have been acid-washed, sandblasted, or sanded.
  4. The surface of the titanium plate should not have any cracks, peeling, rust, dents, or marks from metal and non-metal materials, and there should be no traces of alkali washing.
  5. It is allowed to remove small defects along the rolling direction, but after removal, the thickness of the sheet should not be less than the minimum allowable thickness.
  6. The surface of the titanium sheet can have slight dark spots and some local water marks. Scratches, dents, pits, and other small defects are allowed as long as they don’t go beyond the allowable thickness limits.

  1. A titanium seed sheet has a strong oxide layer on its surface, which makes it a good, durable separator that resists wear. Using a titanium seed sheet means you don’t need a separating agent, making it easier to peel off and skipping the pretreatment process. Plus, titanium seed sheets are half the weight of copper seed sheets.
  2. The lifespan of a titanium seed sheet is more than 3 times longer than that of a copper seed sheet, lasting between 10 to 20 years depending on how it’s used.
  3. The electrolytic copper made using a titanium seed sheet has a dense crystal structure, a smooth surface, and excellent quality.
  4. Because the titanium seed sheet doesn’t require a separating agent, it helps prevent pollution in the copper electrolyte.
  5. This leads to increased production capacity and lower costs for making electrolytic copper, resulting in better economic benefits.
